Digital spaces and practices are evident in almost all creative and learning journeys. This is reflected in students鈥� experience of Higher Education and in the Creative Industries鈥� increasing emphasis on online collaboration.

However, fully online creative education remains difficult to imagine as it appears to contradict key characteristics inherent in 鈥榬esidential鈥� provision in various ways.

In conversation with experts, we will explore the challenges and opportunities for fully online and digital creative education, the implications for the identity of our subjects and institutions.

Daniel will discuss creativity FOR education, including online; creative industries鈥� role and untapped potential for addressing real opportunities in (digital) education and how HE should adapt to stop missing tricks there; and how going back to fundamentals of learning design, teaching and learning can both lead to greater innovation and improve bang-for-buck for universities.
